Macpresse is one of the world’s leading waste and recyclable treatment companies. The company is run in the fifth generation by the Scotuzzi family. The machines are manufactured in the three factories around Milan, Italy.
The Scotuzzi family has run the company since it was founded in 1875. The Scotuzzi family has specialized in the metalworking industry since the early 19th century: they started as farmers with founder Angelo, then became blacksmiths with his son Giacomo. His son, Libero, is expanded the business and built the first agricultural machines for the local market.
In the middle of the 20th century, the brothers Amos, Angelo Giuseppe and Giacomo, the third generation of the family, felt the potential of a growing market: they moved the business from Brescia to Milan and founded the company MAC (Macchine Agricole Cartarie). This is the basis for the future of Macpresse.
Today, Macpresse is present in over 60 countries around the world, with an extensive network of service centers.
